Happy New Year!

For weeks I heard family, friends and colleagues impatiently wait for 2020 to end. The morning of 2021 the news remained the same. COVID-19 deaths are on the rise, politics remained divisive as the $2000 stimulus checks are squashed, and the community food banks are overwhelmed with daunting lines of Americans in need.

Georgia is working hard to get people to the polls to decide if the Senate is Democratic or Republican led. TV ads, mail and calls have escalated.

It does not appear as if we have a reset with this new year. We are stuck in the same pattern of wishing the virus away and wishing Americans would not gather, travel and wear a mask.

I am hosting a book reading this month on the Chapter entitled, ‘Distractions.’ My coaching session will focus on how to get unstuck. Although the outside world is out of control, we do have control over how we prepare for spring renewal.

I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions. I reflect on where I stand professionally, emotionally, physically, personally, spiritually and financially. Did 2020 end as I projected? I ask for guidance in areas I have no control. I look to see if what I planned in 2020 is necessary in 2021. Where should I focus, If at all? Maybe its time to be still and wait for the answers.

It has taken a few years for me to get here. In Distractions I share how pruning relationships set me up to focus on what mattered. In 2021, I am intentional in focusing on my health, finances and The Coaching Program. Everything else I trust will unfold as it should. https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/eventReg?oeidk=a07ehg805ue2a4b0108&oseq=&c=&ch=
